Jackie

Hi! My name is Jackie. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I worked in childcare to get by. It quickly became a passion of mine! I have worked in childcare centers as well as for a nanny agency and as a private nanny, and I have worked primarily with infants over the last six years. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I decided I wasn’t too keen on my field of study anymore. Soon after giving birth to my first child and having a fantastic doula, I trained with DONA to become a birth doula myself! While I enjoy that work, becoming a postpartum doula felt more of a calling. I attended a yearlong mentorship and certification program through Manhattan Birth and learned many valuable lessons. In-depth training on trauma and breastfeeding has proved to be the most useful to my clients thus far! I now have two little ones who are my whole world. I am well-versed in many postpartum experiences and look forward to assisting you in navigating yours!
