Lisa

Newborn Care Specialist

Lisa is a mother of 3 lovely children. She has always loved babies and is exceptional at caring for them! She has supported parents and cared for babies through North Star Newborns for three years. Lisa enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills with the parents to make them feel more confident and prepared as the baby grows. She is intuitive and calm-spirited when it comes to giving your baby the best care possible while fostering the development of age-appropriate skills. She has experience training infants who refuse the bottle to start with and has worked with twins.

Before starting with North Star Newborns, Lisa worked with children and adults with disabilities for many years. This helped grow her skills in many ways, especially patience. She was a PCA for a young boy who required full care and even took him to school, where she passed his meds, set up his feeding pump, and ensured he completed his daily therapies. Lisa has been passionate about caring for others, especially infants. It all started when she was four years old and at home with her mother during the days. Her mom took care of a neighbor’s baby, and Lisa was by her side, helping with everything.
