Paula

Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist

Hi! I’m Paula and I am an experienced Newborn Care Specialist trained by Newborn Care Solutions as well as a Postpartum Doula trained by DONA International. I’ve earned a degree in Early Childhood Education, along with continuing certifications in CPR, First Aid, and SIDS Prevention. I have many years of experience working with multiples, preemies, and newborns/infants. My goal is to help families love and enjoy this most exciting, yet exhausting postnatal time!

I’ve been blessed with a lifetime of caring for children and families and I hope my experience can be of service to you. I began my childcare career by running my licensed home daycare for 13 years while raising my four children. This was such a blessing, and once my children were in school I knew I wanted to continue caring for infants and families!

Hence, began an 8-year journey as a Lead Infant teacher for the General Mills Infant Care Center, and Primrose. The joy I found in the infant rooms, and the training and experience gained working in center-based care was priceless!

Taking my love-based care to a more personal level I joined a beautiful family for 8 years as their Nanny and Household Manager. Sharing my knowledge & skills to assist in raising their child from newborn to school age was an extremely rewarding experience. I am fortunate to still be a part of their family dynamics!

Returning to my passion of infant care as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula has been an absolute joy for me. I specialize in establishing healthy eat and sleep patterns for baby, as well as providing parents with the rest and confidence needed to successfully enjoy this miraculous time. I look forward to being of service to you!
