Taylor
Senior Executive Assistant, Postpartum Doula, and Lactation Specialist
I am a mama, postpartum doula, lactation specialist, and perinatal mental health advocate who holds value in allyship within the BIPOC community and each person’s journey to parenthood. My work as a doula includes customized emotional support, gentle companioning, and holding space while providing a whole-family approach to compassion-centered postpartum support. It is always my goal when working with a family newly postpartum to be a support in all of those areas while nurturing mothers in a way that compliments their own physical and emotional well-being, as well as helping facilitate bonding with their newborn and instilling confidence in newborn care and lactation.
My experience includes over 14 years of working with infants and families. I enjoy my work as a Breastfeeding Counselor for Ramsey County WIC, and breastfed my daughter for over two years, giving me the full understanding of how challenging and rewarding it can be. I am passionate about helping women meet their infant feeding goals, regardless of which path they choose knowing that each journey is individual and sacred. I hold certification in Infant CPR and First Aid and am listed on the Minnesota State Doula Registry. I also have extensive training in Perinatal Mental Health and I hold the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for MN Breastfeeding Coalition as well as on the Board of Directors for Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN, Postpartum Support International’s MN Chapter. This work is my life’s work, and I feel so honored that I get to be a pillar of support for so many in this community.
